single camera vs multi camera

In most television shows they use single camera set to cut cost to minimal for the budget but they occasionally use multi-camera to make conversations feel more realistic and help to cut cost again for action scenes like explosions because they are too expensive to do more than once. One thing that i have realised is that you can tell the difference between single and multi-camera whilst i watch them on T.V which has helped learn the way the cut the two together.

the multi-camera set is pretty straight forward set up because you just have to make sure that the cameras do not capture footage with any of the other cameras, but you also have to make sure you capture all the action that you have been to  capture alsoyou have to make sure the set up is not to small because you need room for the actors to move or the action to happen.

the single camera set up is well just one camera and is used in most shots for television because of budget it is usually the cheapest to film shots like explosions.

analysis of second filming

for the second time of filming it was so much better due to the fact of the equipment we used it actually changed the quality of the sound for the better so in the end it sounded more professional their were a couple of minor problems like i was i off so jake had to fill in for me which was a good thing that he was in.

revised equipment for news reading

For the equipment list for the second recording we will use:
tie microphones because it will be easier
shotgun mics for outside
tripod

shooting schedule

week 1 i will film on two days for a few hours because i think i can get all the footage in that time.

week 1: Tuesday 1400-1800
            Wednesday 1400-1800

week 2 will consist of filming bits we missed or re-filming bits that didn't work to well or that didn't record correctly

week 2: Thursday 1400-1800
              Saturday  1400-1800

The equipment list for filming will include such things as Cannon 600D a tripod also some form of bag to carry most of the filming equipment and some food for the trip and water so i don't fill ill maybe hold the water in a camel bak instead of carrying bottles which would be more hassle and it reduces the amount to carry in my bag.

analysing our footage

outdoor: the were quite a few a problems with filming because there were a few people talking behind us which was picked up by the microphone, the other problems like the sun was causing a glare on the camera lens which was hard to try and remove. the last problem was cars that drove past which you can hardly change because its out of our hands.
indoor noisy: the were a lot of problems with filming indoors like their was a couple of people throwing a bottle in front the camera while talking to each other and in the back ground they were playing music and shouting.
indoor quite: there was practically nothing wrong with it accept the noise from chairs.
